Born in Amsterdam in 1962 and living in the Principality since 1986, Dennis Zegerius has always had the spirit of a traveller. He is particularly fond of the Himalayan region. A keen rambler, Dennis discovered this privileged place ten years ago. Since then he returns every year. Like many others, he was particularly touched by the expressions of the children, each telling the story of their country; the story of their life.

He has brought back hundreds of photos from these trips – gently stolen portraits which are all testimony to the intense and yet hard to describe emotions that the encounters with these children aroused.

Today, as a fitting turn of events, Dennis is offering you a selection of these photos for which he hopes you will give generously as the funds raised will be used to build schools. We hope that you will be moved by the little faces as much as he was.
